- I was born and raised in Fort Worth, lived off and on in Denton through most of the 90's. Lived in Dallas for about 10 years off and on and lived in LA for almost five years. I have a unique western perspective. I have worked in art museums since 1993, and been paid to work in museums since 1996. I have worked at the Amon Carter musuem, the Dallas Museum of Art, The J. Paul Getty Musuem, and currently I am at the Meadows Museum, SMU. I have been painting in watercolor since the early 90's. I paint mostly landscapes with historical content. Most of my work references themes I have been exposed to since childhood. Travel and postcard imagery figure often in my work.
